FOOD: ESTABLISHED IN GOD’S DOCTRINE: FINISHING STRONG

We are rounding up this series.
2 Chronicles 20:20 “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established.”
The goal is not just to know doctrine. The goal is to be established by it.
2 Timothy 1:13 “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus
FOUR MARKS OF THOSE ESTABLISHED IN GOD’S DOCTRINE
1. THEY ARE WORD-ROOTED
Colossians 2:7 “Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught…”
They don’t shift with every new teaching. They are anchored, not tossed about.
2. THEY ARE HOLINESS-MINDED
Titus 2:1 “But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.”
Their life matches what they believe. Sound doctrine produces sound living.
3. THEY ARE CHRIST-CENTERED
Galatians 2:20 “Christ liveth in me.”
For them, Jesus is the message, not methods or men. Christ is the center of every doctrine.
4. THEY CONTEND AND PROTECT
Jude 1:3 “Earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
They defend the faith and protect others from error. They don’t keep quiet when truth is under attack.
HOW TO REMAIN ESTABLISHED
1. Daily Feeding Don’t miss your spiritual food. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
2. Daily Obedience John 14:23 “If a man love me, he will keep my words…” Doctrine without obedience is mere theory.
3. Daily Prayer Ask for grace to stand. Without prayer, you cannot stand firm in the evil day.
4. Teach Others 2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” Pass sound doctrine to the next generation.
Eat The Scroll and Declare As Follows:
1. I am established in the doctrine of Christ, in Jesus’ name.
2. No doctrine of devils will move me, in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, use me to raise others in sound doctrine, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER
1. Father, thank You for establishing me in Your truth, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, make me a carrier and defender of sound doctrine, in Jesus’ name.
3. Ancient of Days, help me to finish strong and keep the faith, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
