The Founder and General Overseer of God’s Anointed and Blessed Church International, Pastor Toye Ebijomore, has once again urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to convene a national prayer conference aimed at addressing the escalating crisis of insecurity, insurgency, and banditry plaguing Nigeria. This latest appeal was made during Pastor Ebijomore’s sermon this past weekend at the church headquarters in Akure, where the Nigerian National Prayer Team gathered to seek divine intervention in the nation’s affairs.
On January 1, 2024, the Prophet of God revealed in his published prophecies that the Lord instructed him to tell President Tinubu to convene a national prayer for the redemption and restoration of Nigeria’s glory. He has previously reached out to the President through multiple letters, press releases, and press conferences, urging him to take decisive action to mitigate the violence and turmoil that have become prevalent in the country.
The Prophet emphasized the necessity of a national prayer conference, asserting that without this spiritual gathering, Nigeria will continue to struggle with insecurity—a situation that could spiral into greater unrest, exacerbated by external forces profiting from the nation’s instability.
The Nigerian National Prayer Team consists of patriotic ministers of God from various locations who have responded to Prophet Ebijomore’s revelation about the Lord’s demand for a national prayer. They have joined him in a vigil three times a week, praying for God to make this his set time for Nigeria’s redemption and restoration of glory not to elude us as a nation.
In his sermon, Pastor Ebijomore stated, “I am aware that since the Lord revealed the vision for the national prayer to me and I shared the prophecies, people have proposed various ideas for national prayer. However, no human idea or initiative can ever substitute the directive of the Lord and provide a divine solution.”
“My attention was recently drawn to a news publication in which Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum declared a day of voluntary fasting and prayer in an effort to seek divine intervention against the ongoing security threats facing the nation.”
” I salute the governor’s godly heart and would wish he can find a copy of my 2025 Prophecies to see how God says each state of the federation should hold its prayer after the national prayer is held.”
“It is also noteworthy that military leaders, such as Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, have acknowledged the military’s limitations and recognized the need for prayer as a ‘spiritual solution’ to the rising tide of insecurity.”
“This acknowledgment is a testimony backing up the message of God through me to Mr. President to convoke nation prayer for Nigeria’s redemption and restoration of glory.”
“My conviction is that while many individuals, groups, and state governors are indeed holding prayers for Nigeria, these efforts will not yield the desired national peace and prosperity until it is rightly done.”
” God specifically demands that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu convoke the national prayer according to His directives. The Holy Bible teaches us that obedience is better than sacrifice.”
“Hence, I strongly believe that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s response to the call for a national prayer conference is crucial at this critical moment in Nigeria’s history.”
” As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, ‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.’ This is a time for humility and prayer,” Prophet Ebijomore said.”
Moreover, the Prophet expressed his desire to meet with President Tinubu to share specific divine instructions he believes are essential for Nigeria’s growth and prosperity during his presidency.
He acknowledged the immense responsibilities resting on the President’s shoulders but expressed his perplexity that his letters have gone unanswered for over a year. He has been fervently hoping to hear from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The call for a national prayer conference is not merely a suggestion but a directive from God, as articulated in Prophet Ebijomore’s published prophecies from January 1, 2024 and some specific instructions on how the prayer should hold were also analyzed in his 2025 prophecies.
The Prophet stated, “Until this prayer is observed and the specific instructions from God are fully adhered to, insecurity will not cease in Nigeria, so says the Lord of hosts.”
Pastor Ebijomore urges all Nigerians to rely on his long history of consistently fulfilled prophecies and join in prayer and support the call for this national prayer conference, believing that through collective faith and action, the nation can experience healing and restoration.
He encouraged the National Prayer Team to maintain strong faith in their mission for the redemption and restoration of Nigeria’s glory, assuring them that it will happen in our lifetime.
Pastor Ebijomre referenced Isaiah 62:1-2 in relation to Nigeria, stating: “For my nation’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Nigeria’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. And the Gentiles shall see her righteousness, and all kings her glory: and Nigeria shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. Amen.”
