Pastor Elias Omotoye Ebijomore is the Founder and General Overseer (FGO) of the God’s Anointed and Blessed Church International (GABCI). He was an engineer working with an indigenous oil producing company in Lagos, but living in Abeokuta, Ogun State and he married a wife –Funmilayo Esther Ogunrinde whose both parents are from the land. The Lord called him to leave his in-laws’ land, Abeokuta, for Akure, Ondo State for His works.
The Lord visited him openly in an experience that looked like a physical encounter when he was presenting a technical paper at the Nigerian Society of Engineers, National Engineering Conference and Annual General Meeting in Abeokuta, Ogun State on December 4th to 8th, 2006;
His paper was on Electric Power Sector and Sustainable Environment, which had already been published in the Abstracts of the Proceedings of the Conference. The main hall of the Cultural Centre, Abeokuta being the venue of the conference was filled to the capacity with dignitaries within and outside the country. But when he was introduced for the presentation and as he walked from the high table to the podium with the overwhelming cheers of the great audience, the public electricity supply was interrupted and the cheering took long while he stood waiting for the light to be restored.
As the electricity was restored and there was calm and the projector was coming up for the power point presentation, he heard a soft voice in his ear which said, ‘hear the cheering and see the great audience from nations that want to share in your solutions to the problems of electricity in Nigeria. But you will teach greater audience on the way for them to overcome the power of darkness and this you will do as I have purposed for you. I am the Lord’. Then, the voice stopped and he finished the presentation and returned to the high table with overwhelming applauds from the audience.
When he was leaving the high table at the end of the technical session and people were exchanging pleasantries with one another, he saw a man walking up to shake hands with him but the man suddenly disappeared and whispered to his ear that ‘do not forget what I told you. Therefore, go now for me: I am the Lord’.
There forward, the Lord occupied him with several visions and directives for about four days and night. The Lord said clearly to him, among other things, that he should leave Abeokuta, the land of his in-laws for Akure to do His works. Towards the end of the year 2008, he began steps to make full obedience to leave Abeokuta for Akure as the Lord had directed. He observed the necessary prayers to receive the promises for the call and by the assurances he got from the Lord, he moved on the 25th of January 2009 with his family to Akure, Ondo State and began the full time works of the Lord.
The servant of God is an embodiment of the fivefold ministry but he humbly uses the title of pastor. The Lord is using him greatly for people across the world and there are proven records of his consistently fulfilled visions, prophecies and great works of the ministry of Christ Jesus. He is truly called by God to lead great people and give divine guidance to the nations as found evidence in his yearly published prophecies. Thus, he is nicknamed as a spokesman of God.
