Founder and General Overseer (FGO) of God’s Anointed and Blessed Church International, (GABCI), Akure, Ondo State capital, Pastor Toye Ebijomore preached the operations of prevailing kingdom to people at the 2026 Congress of the church.
He made the charge during the thanksgiving service of the “Heirs of God Congress 2026”held at the church headquarters in Akure on Sunday, August 30th. The service was attended by worshippers, dignitaries and political leaders from across the country, and the auditorium filled to capacity with overflow.
This year’s theme of the Congress was “THE PREVAILING KINGDOM.” It was a 5-day spiritual gathering that ran from Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th August.
Delivering the sermon on PREVAILING KINGDOM being the theme of the 2026 Congress, the man of God declared that the two operating kingdoms on earth are God’s Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of Light and Satan’s kingdom, also known as the kingdom of darkness.
He said the kingdom of darkness creates damaging problems, but the Kingdom of Light gives divine solutions.
He proclaimed that Satan’s kingdom cannot operate forever, “because he knows that he has but a short time” (Revelation 12:12).
The prophet of God declared, “There’s no situation, be it economic, political, medical, or spiritual that is beyond divine intervention.”
He said no matter how strong the kingdom of darkness operates against people, and regardless of how long it lasts, the kingdom of God will rise to crush it and prevail forever.
Referencing Daniel 2, he spoke about Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom of Babylon that was great across the world. God showed the king a dream of a stone cut out of the mountain without hands that broke in pieces a great image made of iron, brass, clay, silver and gold.
The man of God cited Daniel 2:44: “In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”
He therefore encouraged the people to have faith in God and present their challenges before Him for intervention.
The FGO stated that public officeholders, political leaders, and kings can pray for God intervention over the situation in their area of designation and domains.
He emphasized that God still answers prayers like in the Old times, and therefore, called on Nigerians to take their burdens to God.
He called on those in authority to rule with the fear of God, referencing Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.”
Likewise, he warned them against seeking power from Satan, and specifically called on people to avoid it because of its miserable consequences, citing Psalm 16:4 “Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god.”
Anchoring his sermon on Genesis 1:26-28, Pastor Ebijomore explained that God’s original mandate for man was to “have dominion, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” He said, “Anything contrary to these five mandates of God for us is null and void. I cannot agree to see anyone barren or under the oppression of the devil. I am God’s anointed prophet to enforce His will for people to fulfill the mandates He has endowed on earth.”
He said the mandate to subdue and have dominion are attributes of kings. “He hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” (Revelation 5:10).
He traced how Satan, “a liar and the father of it, thief and a robber” (John 8:44, 10:1,10), stole the dominion of the earth from Adam and established the kingdom of darkness.
But the man of God declared that Jesus, the Last Adam, regained the kingdom and declared “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matt 28:18). Then, Jesus gave us the power and restored the kingdom to us. “I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me” (Luke 22:29).
The prophet of God assured that “Therefore, whatever Satan has stolen from you and whatever battle his kingdom has staged against your life, the goal of God’s kingdom is to restore your dominion and establish you as an heir who prevails.”
Drawing examples from 2 Chronicles 13 where King Abijah of Judah prevailed over King Jeroboam of Israel with 400,000 men against 800,000 “because they relied upon the LORD”, and 2 Chronicles 14 where King Asa cried to God and defeated a million-man Ethiopian army, the man of God charged believers to rely on God.
He also cited 1 Samuel 17:50 on how David prevailed over Goliath, and Daniel 2:44 on how God’s Kingdom will break and consume all other kingdoms.
The thanksgiving service was characterized by massive turnout, intense worship, and numerous testimonies of God’s faithfulness in the last one year.
Among those who gave testimonies was a family that was barren for 14 years. They testified that they attended the 2024 Congress where the prophet of God ministered to them. In September 2025, God blessed them with triplets. They came with the triplets, alongside family and friends, to return all glory to God.
Another family testified of God’s visitation at the 2024 Congress. After seven years of barrenness following their first child, God blessed them with a set of twins in November 2025. The couple with the 7-year old daughter and the twins filed out before the altar to give all glory to God.
In a most remarkable testimony, a 59-year-old woman who attended the 2024 Congress and had been barren, conceived in 2025 and gave birth naturally to a baby girl in July 2026. The congregants were greatly moved and joined her to offer thanks to God.
Another woman who was declared dead at 8:00pm after being rejected by five hospitals was raised back to life at 3:00am through the prayers of the prophet of God and the intercessory team. For four months after, witnesses said “sand was seen falling off from her skin whenever she scratched her body.” She came with her child to give thanks to God.
Another testimony was from a pregnant woman who fell face-down and fainted. She testified how God used His prophet, Pastor Ebijomore and the church prayer warriors to revive her. She delivered safely 3 months after and came with her baby girl to testify and thank God.
Other testimonies included divine employment, promotion after workplace injustice, miraculous healings, deliverance from affliction, and several souls surrendering to Christ.
Concluding with prophetic declarations, Pastor Ebijomore decreed that the prevailing Kingdom would begin to operate for the people to prevail, subdue and have dominion henceforth.
He prayed for peace in Ondo State and Nigeria, gave prophetic words to individuals, and assured congregants of “sweet testimonies and great thanksgiving” by next year.
The congregants prayed, offered thanksgiving, danced before God, cheerfully exchanged pleasantries, snapped group photographs and departed joyfully.
