When the anointing came upon Saul and he met a company of prophets, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and he prophesied with them. It shocked the people, and they asked, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” 1 Samuel 10:11
Today, people are asking the same about you: “Is he/she also among the Christians?”
I call you now, again, to avoid living a fake Christian life, but to serve God in Spirit and in truth.
In the last exhortation, I urged you:
1. To turn away from having a form of godliness that denies its power 2 Timothy 3:5.
2. To avoid the pretense of fake Christianity—being “ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” 2 Timothy 3:7.
3. To avoid every individual and group that can corrupt your Christian life. “A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump” 1 Corinthians 5:6.
Today, I warn you: all Christian life faking and pretense will end in disownment at the last day. Jesus will say, “I never knew you.”
Matthew 7:22-23 KJV
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Don’t wait for that day to hear those words. Examine yourself now. Turn from pretense to reality, from manipulation to power, from self to Christ.
