After Saul was anointed, he met a company of prophets, and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him so that he prophesied with them. Then the people asked, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” 1 Samuel 10:11
Today, people are asking the same about you: “Is he/she also among the Christians?”
In the last message, I charged you to avoid living a fake Christian life and to practice true, practical Christianity.
Now I ask you plainly: Do you have a form of godliness but deny its power?
2 Timothy 3:1-5 warns,
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
Truly, those perilous times are here. The signs are evident in many lives. They have the form of Christianity—“ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth” 2 Timothy 3:7—but they lack the power of godliness.
The Scripture is clear: turn away from such people. A little leaven leavens the whole lump 1 Corinthians 5:6.
Examine yourself. Is your vainly outward appearance to satisfy your curiosity presenting a Christian indeed? If Christ is truly in you, your life will testify you as a saved soul.
Adjust now and let the Lord be proud of you henceforth. Amen.
